About the event
Afternoon Tea is a tea-related ritual, introduced in Britain in the early 1840s. It evolved as a mini meal to stem the hunger and anticipation of an evening meal. Today an Afternoon Tea is a social event where friends gather and enjoy conversation and fancy little treats served on fine china!
The food served at our Afternoon Tea is composed of sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, sweet pastries, and cakes - with tea of course.
