About the event
Afternoon Tea is a tea-related ritual, introduced in Britain in the early 1840s. It evolved as a mini meal to stem the hunger and anticipation of an evening meal. Today an Afternoon Tea is a social event where friends gather and enjoy conversation and fancy little treats served on fine china!
The event starts with your choice of Tea: Green, Black, Earl Grey, Warm Bread Pudding, Creme Brulee, or a Spicy Chai to start things off. Next, we serve Soup (TBD), Finger Sandwiches, Cream Cheese and Basil Tomatoes, and Scones with Clotted Cream and Jam. Finally comes a variety of pastries and a special dessert.
